Searching for cheap lessons could cost you more than you think.
Before getting into a car with ANY instructor, make sure you ask to see their DSA accreditation.
By law, this MUST be displayed on the front windscreen if somebody is charging money, or moneys worth, in exchange for driving lessons.
If they cannot show you their accreditation then they are likely to be an illegal instructor, and should be reported to the DSA.
If you decide to take lessons with an illegal instructor, you could be prosecuted for abetting illegal driving instruction.
Official instructors now have to be checked by the Criminal Records Bureau in order to operate. They are also checked regularly to ensure their teaching is up to the correct standard.
These are guarantees an illegal instructor cannot offer!
